Moments - a Sonnet
His pride, as loud as a great lion’s roar
With smiles captured in eternal frames
As bright as a sunset along the shore
Engulfing the horizon in red flames
Her train trails with an ethereal glow
Perfumes from the roses begin to seep
From the rafters joyful melodies flow
Women and men alike begin to weep
Like a white dove soars in a sun-drenched sky
Radiant waves of happiness in flight
Love spreads its wings and thus begins to fly
It beckons to our lonely souls at night
Deep green eyes gaze straight at the other’s blue,
A heart so filled with love utters, I do.
