GREAT DAY.

No seriously, my usual sarcasm is completely non-existent there. I’ve had a really good day. 

Things that made me happy today:

  1. Buying the new Train album
  2. Not having any homework  Not doing the homework I do have
  3. Wearing sweatpants and boxers to school
  4. Cuddling with Sam
  5. Being productive
  6. Putting 40 Coke Cap Codes in
  7. Using points from said codes to order a new Nike bag
  8. Listening to my favorite songs from this season of Sing-Off all night long
  9. ACTUALLY HAVING A WONDERFUL NIGHT ALL NIGHT. 

Things are looking up. 

Day 24 → Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs.

So I know, I know. I haven’t done this in almost a year, but I have to at least finish it, haha. It’s really more like Day 346, but that’s okay, you won’t mind I’m sure.

1. If It Kills Me - Jason Mraz. This perfectly explains us during the time where our friendship was turning into something else.

2. Taking Chances - Celine Dion. Going along the timeline, we both took steps into the unknown, unsure of what was going to happen but hoping for the best. 

3. These Are the Nights - Making April. A song depicting our summer nights together.

4. We’ll Be a Dream - We the Kings. As we went along, we started to realize that this wasn’t something that would fade easily. We knew there was something there and this song describes us perfectly. 

5. Fix You - Coldplay. Time passed, and you started to see the darker side of me. I was terrified that it would scare you off, but you instead made it your mission to stay, be there for be, and help me through any hardship. That’s what this is all about.

6. Your Body is a Wonderland - John Mayer. I don’t think this even needs explaining. It’s my idea of something you would tell me.

7. Sunday Morning - Maroon 5. A favorite of both of ours. It’ll be us someday. Maybe a long while in the future, or maybe this summer. Either way, it’s us.

8. Your Guardian Angel - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. You are mine. Enough said.
